This spot can be ridden at any tide height. A huge area for riding, basically like a kiteboard fun park with sandbars, flat glassy sections and also wave riding just over the sandbar. There is a river mouth (Pioneer River, look out for boats) as well that can be ridden in an outgoing tide. Nice. Jellyfishes from October to April. Beach is soft sand with a bit of debris around tho. Plenty of area for safe launching. Average wind is 13 to 18 knots SE. September to December NE are predominant. Best in a SE wind but is still good in a NE. Season is all year round. Water temp is nice. Due to jellyfishes a stinger suit applies from October to April, otherwise just shorts. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
