It's the North Sea and right next to the Speicherkoog, tidal beach. Works only in 2 hours before and after high tide. There is no beach but grass all around and enough space to start and land your kite. Winds from all directions and forces can be expected. Best winds in spring and autumn. Summer has lighter winds. Best winds from N over W to S. Typically North German weather: air between 20-30°C in summer (June-August) and a good mixture of rain and sun, otherwise 10-20°C. The water can reach up to 20-21°C and spring and autmn about 10-15°C. A wetsuit is always good to have with you. The season starts around April and ends in October/November. Off-season possible unless it is frozen. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Camping, School, Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
