Big wave spot. Massive sets roll in off Bass Stait about 1.5km out and break and reform right into the beach. Flat in between waves and generally 1-200m between waves. Not that spectacular. White sand. Launch area is small on high tide. No hard object though. Need SW or West for proper wave riding (side/onshore). To gusty side/offshore. Spring is best time for these winds. Need strong SW which happens from September through to December. Can blow at other times but not as reliable. Full wetsuit required. Air about 22°C, water about 16°C. Water: Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Shop, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
