Flat at low tide, 3-4 ft peeling waves at high tide after a good blow. On high tides sea wall should be regarded but the bay is only 6-12 inches deep. Reasonably sandy beach and good area for rigging even at high tide. Miles of open sand with no obstacles on tidal levels below 7m. Clean in West thru Northeast. Best in West and Northwest. SSW is a little gusty. Best winds autumn and spring. Cold in winter, average 5-9°C. Decent summer from May to September can vary from 16-26°C. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Shop, Toilet, Food, Parking.
