Tide not a factor, no waves. Flat or choppy. Shallow (>100m) between February to September. No rocks, reefs or corals. Beautiful white sand, nice roomy launching area. More than 4 km sandy beach. Easy landing and launching. No major danger, perfect for beginners. November to March Northwest sideonshore 15 knots. April to June Southwest sideonshore 15 knots. July and August onshore 18-20 knots. Wind blows all year except October with the most consistent wind November to March and the strongest wind July and August. West oriented, wind on and sideshore all the year. End November to February thermal wind in the afternoon, about 15 knots. March to May stronger wind, up to 18/20 knots (15-23 days/month). June to August, average 15 days/months with >20 knots. Wind season 10 months/year. Average temperature is 30°C, water 27°C. Wetsuit not needed. Thailand is a tropical country with its typical high temperature all year round. 25-30°C in the cold season, 35-40+°C in the hot season and 30-35°C during the rainy season. Humidity is always high, even though it's easier to bear during the cold season during which the sun shines.
