There can be a pretty gnarly shore break, which you may choose to body drag though before riding. There is a lot of room towards the southern end of the beach. Stay clear of the northern end of the beach. Works in Northeasterly to Southeasterly. Temps in summer around 25-40°C, water around 21-22°C, shorts are fine for summer when the wind is at its best. Warm water in summer (~22°C) with colder water in winter (~16°C). Water: Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
