Flat to choppy water. Big shallow area. The large shallow area only exists at or near low tide. There is no safe area for launching a kite except at or near low tide. There are razor shells and other hazards to a kite in the sand, which is only exposed at low tide. Best during spring and fall. All year round is possible, but in winter very cold with thick wetsuit.
