The spot is pretty much a huge bay which works in all Eastern wind directions, depending on what part of the bay you are at. When onshore you can get a 0.5m-1m swell in strong winds and quite heavy chop. In Southern or Northeastern directions you get pretty flat water (small chop). Sandy, very wide at some places, really nice, lots of space during the off season, but during the summer it will get very crowded if the weather is nice. In summer generally very light winds, but can get a good seabreeze in the afternoon. Autumn would be considered the windy season here with quite strong winds. We have no consistent winds here, so there are no really dominant wind patterns. Luckily it is an island, so it is possible to kite in all wind directions. Best is however NE, E, SE when we get waves at a beautiful spot further in the north. Season is June to August if you want to use a shorty/trunks. With wetsuit you can go all year around. The water doesn't freeze, but it will get really cold in the winter: -10°C. More reasonable would be mid April to mid November. If your using a thick wetsuit, boots, gloves etc. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Camping, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
