At very low tide there is a 2-4m strip of mussels and razor shellfish, if you are a beginner, you may want to wear boots. Sandy beach. Very little beach on a big spring tide. Stay well away from the cliffs when the tide is high as they can generate huge updrafts. Westerlies with depressions with any force possible. Recommended in anything from SSW round through W to N. English weather could be anything from 30°C in summer to below freezing in winter. We can usually sail through winter in a 5 mm booties and gloves and shorty in summer. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop.
