On the east side chop and small waves. On the west side behind the road perfect flat water. Lots of debris on the beach. Bigger launch on the east side, tiny launch on the west side, for experts only. The windy season starts from December and tapers off in mid-April. Winds are somewhat inconsistent in the 10-25 knots range, blowing sideoffshore to sideonshore. The North Atlantic high generates the trade winds that blow during late spring and summer at a steady 12-18 knots. Water: Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Parking.
