At high tide, like in many places in Thailand, the sea becomes very deep at a couple of meters from the shore only. At low tide, the bottom of the sea is flatter. Long, sandy beach. Offers a relatively safe launching area. Good wind (given for 15-25 knots) from January to March. The wind mainly comes from East directions during November and December. Thailand is a tropical country with its typical high temperature all year round. 25-30°C in the cold season, 35-40+°C in the hot season and 30-35°C during the rainy season. Humidity is always high, even though it's easier to bear during the cold season during which the sun shines.
