Small ocean chop, no waves, semi flat. Pinaroo Point has a fairly good sized area for the kites to launch and land. Although a short walk up or down the beach, and it narrows a bit. Nice soft white sand. There can be a lot of seaweed from time to time. Usual South to Southwesterlies. 15-20 knots average. November to March best time. During spring time some people prefer full length wetsuits, while others ride in shorties. Not recommended for off-season riding. Winter storms produce gusty, squally unpredictable wind. Summer: October to March, warm water, shorts and rashie. Winter: cold water, steamer. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: School, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
