Water generally quite flat if occasionally a little too choppy for most tastes. Occasional jellyfish swarms in June and July. Generally clean though spiky plants washed up quite often. Beach extends for 750kms along the whole coastline of Mauritania. Wind most afternoons from 14-20knots, February to August and then again from mid-October to end of November.
