Be careful in onshore winds since big buildings are just right at the beach. 10-20 mph in winter, can be stronger with fronts. 5-15 mph in summer, only a few days stronger. Summer lighter SE thermals, about 10-15 knots. November to April: cold fronts bring SE before and NE after it, with 15-20, sometimes up to 25 knots. During winter about 4 days per week surfing possible. 3/2mm wetsuit for the locals on the coldest days in winter, shorty or top on most days. Sun protection recommended.
