It is possible to launch further up the beach, then you will have a long downwinder back to the kitecenter. The high season for kitesurfers is from June to middle September with the best winds. Daily 'Meltemi' winds are 4-6 Bft. Autumn/spring has different winds. Not regularly, but stronger. Best in W and SW. Summer is the best time to go, water 24°C, air 30°C. A lycra for sun protection is recommended. Spring/autumn you need a wetsuit. In wintertime a long wetsuit. Water: Chop, Smallwave. Features: Shop, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
