Shallow water with a reef near the shore that guarantees great, but easy going waves. This makes great wave rinding possible and high jumps. Depending on the season waves up to 4m high. Sandy beach, relaxed atmosphere. Enough space and not crowded with people. You can enter the water at the surf schools and at the restaurant/bar. The wind here is typically diagonally sideshore from the right and the waves break approx. 50-100m before the bank. This spot is one of the best locations for extremely high jumps and wave riding. In the mornings no wind, about noon it picks up. The Dom. Rep. has warm water, and warm air, all year round. No wetsuit is necessary, although sun protection like lycra is always good. Mid September to mid December: great rain season. Water: Shallow, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
