You can kite in Punta Piedra (in front of the big island), where you have left and right handed waves, that break fast so you can have maybe 1 or 2 turns. A little bit up north (500 meters), there is a flat water lagoon, next to a bridge, sometimes have a lot of water and sometimes just a little bit. A little bit more north from that (500 meters more), you have the best freestyle spot in the area. It's a lagoon protected by small dunes. The track is long, but you kite next to the train rails, so is a experts spot only. Not a lot of hazards, just rocks that you can see with low tide. From April to July, you can have North Winds, which come with rain. You have maybe 1 or 2 good North Winds a month in that period. You can kite in some different spots with North Wind, like Playa La Boca (usually just a surf spot), or in Renaca. Cold water all year long. Water: Flat, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Repair, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
