This spot offers all different sorts of conditions: waves on the reef (good for surfing), about 200m from the coast, flat (freestyle and learning) and the downwinder. There are big tides which create shallow waters. The beach is enormous with fine, white sand. There is a huge space to land and launch your kites safely. There are almost no rocks. Almost every day, the beach in Sao Miguel do Gostoso has regular winds from July to February with 20 knots in average. The dominant and best wind direction is SE, which is sideoffshore on the spot. Best time: from October to February. Very strong in September with about 35 knots. Warm all year. Rainy season from February to June. Air and water temperatures are 30°C on average. No wetsuit needed. Water: Shallow, Flat, Mediumwave. Features: School, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
