Close to the beach flat to choppy water. Smaller waves on the reef about 1km out. About 5km from shore nice waves on the outer reef. There are only two seasons. They are determined by the direction of the wind. Southeasterly wind season and the Northwesterly wind season. The SE wind season brings the best winds. The wind is sheltered by a hill called Pyramid Hill during the SE wind season so launching from the beach can be tricky. Best way is to walk with your kite about 20m out and launch from the water when a gust passes through. Then head out to deeper water quickly. Once clear of the hill, you will get solid cross onshore wind. Warm tropical climate all year round. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
