Nice clean waves which come off the jetty with a tolerable current. With northerly wind flat behind the jetty. Big sandy beach, lots of space. Lots of wind. Small kites needed. You can almost always count on wind here when North Coast beaches are too light to kite. Directly beneath the jetty the NW is sideshore, but a bit further south N is sideshore. Season from spring thru fall. Always need a full wetsuit 5/3mm or so. Air temps from 50-70°F. Water in the 50's°F all year round. Water: Flat, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
